5 Effective tips to manage performance and accountability in your hybrid team

Are you finding yourself caught in the crosshairs of managing performance and accountability?

With teams split between home offices and actual offices, the game's changed, and it is crucial to adapt our strategies to ensure productivity and success.

Here’s 5 tips:

1.      Managing performance starts with clear expectations. Clearly communicate goals, deliverables, and performance metrics to your team members, regardless of their location.

2.      Establish regular check-ins to provide feedback (we have a formula proven to help – message me for a copy), address challenges, and celebrate achievements. This ensures that everyone is on the same page and working towards common objectives.

3.      In a hybrid workforce, accountability becomes even more crucial. Foster a culture of responsibility, where your team are empowered to take ownership of their tasks and results.

4.      Encourage transparency and open communication, allowing team members to share progress, challenges, and collaborate effectively.

5.      Utilise technology and digital tools to track and measure performance. We like Asana but there are plenty out there. Research has shown that it’s highly motivating to make “visible progress towards meaningful goals”.

One more thing – flexibility should not compromise accountability.
