Who should decide your hybrid work policy?

Are you still sensing resistance to your hybrid work policies?  Here’s how to put a stop to it and get everyone on-board.

Answering the question of who should set hybrid work policies, it turns out that 46% of employees are engaged at work when their team decides their hybrid work policies – however only 13% of employees reported that their team actually makes these decisions.

According to a recent Gallup article, it's a mixed bag on who decides the hybrid work policy: top leadership takes the lead (26%), followed by team managers (24%), then the work team itself (13%), and lastly, 37% say they have full control.

Clearly, allowing teams to agree on hybrid work arrangements leads to increased engagement at work.

So, the question is, how can your organisation give employees more of a voice in determining their hybrid work policy?

How was it decided at your organisation? Is it working?
